STRACON is pleased to announce that Rio2 Limited has once again placed its trust in us and we have been selected as the contractor to execute the earthworks related to its process plant and the construction of leach pads and mine infrastructure for the Fénix Gold Project in Chile.
Both companies have signed an Early Contractor Involvement Agreement (ECI Agreement).
The scope of the ECI Agreement includes all earthworks and associated activities, maintenance and construction of roads, construction platforms and infrastructure, construction of pads and ponds, preparation of the waste material deposit and collection pads, water controls, transport of water for construction purposes and other support services for other contractors. All these services will be additional to those corresponding to the designation as the main mining contractor, news that we shared on our website on July 8 2020.
At STRACON we are excited to continue working with the Rio2 team and all project stakeholders to successfully build and operate the Fénix Gold Project in Chile.
